14 DAY CATTAI CHALLENGE

Hey Everyone! Since Earth Day is coming up, CHEN has decided to contribute to this special event by creating the 14 DAY CATTAI CHALLENGE! The Cattai challenge is going to extend for 14 days and end on the 22nd of April, which is Earth Day. For this challenge you will need to post photo's or video's on the CHEN page of you taking part in as many environmentally friendly tasks that can help your local environment from home.I am going to be taking part in it as well and you are welcome to use these ideas for your submission. The person that submits the most eco-tasks will receive an ECO BUNDLE of goodies, such as a reusable cutlery set, bamboo toothbrush, a reusable trendy bag, a stainless steel straw and much more! The race is on to better our environment, let’s do it!

Day 1 of the 14 Day Cattai Challenge – Clean Your Car on Grass

Day 1 of the 14 Day Cattai Challenge – Clean Your Car on Grass

Today’s Eco-tip is to Clean Your Car on Grass rather then on Paved Surfaces

Washing your car on paved surfaces allows your cleaning detergents to flow into your gutters only to be taken to our local water-ways such as the Cattai creek, contaminating them.

However, when you wash your car on the grass, the water along with the detergents, are soaked into the ground reducing the amount of chemicals and detergents reaching our nearby waterways.
